In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (not including the sugar). In a separate bowl whisk together the wet ingredients (eggs, buttermilk, butter olive oil, lavender balsamic and granulated sugar). Mix the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined. Don’t overmix. Toss the berries in a little bit of flour and fold them gently into the batter. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with the turbinado sugar.
