Linguini with basil pesto sauce is a traditional recipe from the city of Genova in the north-west of Italy but is today very appreciated everywhere in Italy and in the world.

Thanks to basil and whole pine-nuts, Linguini al pesto is a fresh tasty dish, you will have just to add grated cheese and olive oil.

Preparation: bring 3 cups (0,7 Liter) of water and 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a boil in a large non-stick skillet or pan. Add the contents of the package, cover and cook until most of the water has absorbed.

Useful tips: add 4 tbsp Italian extravirgin olive oil and 1/2 cup grated cheese.

Wine: Brindisi Rosato DOC or rosè, still, medium body wines.

Ingredients: pasta (durum WHEAT semolina, water 12,5%) 88%, basil 10%, garlic, pine nuts, salt. Contains GLUTEN, may contain traces of: sunflower seeds, tree nuts, celery, soy, sesame seeds, potato, does not contain glutammate or chemical additives. .
